Silver Star, our 55+ community in Orlando, provides our residents with a truly enjoyable lifestyle. A comfortable year-round climate, wonderful amenities and a host of cultural, educational and recreational attractions all add up to make Silver Star a beautiful community you'll love to call "home". Orlando is a city known for excitement of every variety. Our residents often take time to appreciate one of the many exhibitions at the Orlando Museum of Art. Maybe you would prefer a visit to the Mennello Museum of American Folk Art, one of the few museums in the nation dedicated to folk art and the celebration of American artists! How about a trip to the Orlando Science Center! The Touch the Sky exhibit allows guests the opportunity to tour a control tower with simulated navigation systems and take a ride on a flight simulator! Why not attend a City of Orlando adult clay event? Roll up your sleeves, learn how to use a potter's wheel and kiln, and participate in the construction and primitive pit-firing of your pottery! Wrap up your pottery experience with a day at the Fiesta in the Park – Lake Eola Park's big November hand-crafted pottery event! The community is situated close to charming smaller shops as well as ten minutes from the fabulous fashion found at the West Oaks Mall. Cypress Gardens and Universal Studios are a short 20 minute drive from the community, and that Disney World and Sea World are a close 30 minutes away! Silver Star truly offers the best of everything, all within an active 55+ lifestyle community! Our amenities are second to none, and include a spacious clubhouse, heated swimming pool, shuffleboard, billiards and more. Our courteous, professional management staff provides the highest level of customer service to our family of residents, and stand ready to answer your questions and help in any way they can. We invite you to stop into the community office and find out why Silver Star is Orlando's premier residential community!
